The Sakai Takayuki Homura Guren petty is a hand-forged and hand-sharpened Japanese kitchen knife. The petty is a Japanese version of the paring knife. You use it for small cutting tasks in the kitchen such as mincing garlic and herbs, or cutting an onion. The knife is made in Sakai, Japan by master blacksmith Itsuo Doi.
